Tour directors plan was set aside after a bedroom malfunction by the Bayleys. A night collapse of their bed caused by a "slight movement" had to be rectified along with our wifi issue. A late start resulted in a split in the Pelaton with girls heading to shops and a late lunch, while boys set out on a demanding sprint to the Invalides for Napoleon's tomb and Musee de Armee. After that the boys were also invalides.
The night was a special one beginning with a performance of Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" in St Chapelle and a great dinner at a friendly bistro on the Seine. Great weather made it a memorable day in Paris.....and I got to buy a set of pastels from Sennelier Shop where Degas got his. It hasn't changed much in between!
