The day saw an early morning break by Team Bayley, setting out to see as much of monumental Paris they could squeeze into the day. Team Etho sat back early before settling on a stroll through the Marais.
Bayleys took the open top tour bus around the main sites. A nice 2 hour wait to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower to look over Paris. Not content, they did the double by climbing the Arc de Triomphe. Etho's in the meantime had a look at Place Vosges, Bastille and Musee Carnavalet before a great lunch at le Petit Marche.
The Pelaton was rejoined for a night visit to the Louvre while the crowds were thin. It's a must-see but you need several days to get through it all. At the end of our day it was a trifle ambitious so we had a very enjoyable dinner at a Greek/Italian/French pizza cafe where the waiter was our second best friend by the time we left.
